Service

Our music teaching extends beyond tailored piano courses to include a conservatoire-trained Strings Faculty. The team is led by Mr Arthur Tsang, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and Mr Ben Chang, a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music. We provide diverse string courses that help students excel in performance, develop musical appreciation, and broaden their understanding of different areas of music and instrumental study.

Beyond individual lessons, we offer students numerous opportunities to showcase their playing and personal interpretations, helping them develop self-confidence, expressiveness, and independent thinking—qualities that are valuable not only in professional music careers, but also in many other pathways.

What courses do we provide?

Violin Courses

Our violin courses provide an inspiring, conservatoire-level foundation for students of all ages. We focus on cultivating a beautiful tone, precise intonation, and refined bowing technique. Because collaboration is at the heart of music-making, our lessons frequently incorporate dynamic violin duets and regular sessions with professional accompanists. This interactive approach not only prepares students thoroughly for examinations but also keeps them highly motivated, helping them build the stagecraft and confidence required for expressive public performance.

Cello Courses

Our cello courses are designed to nurture both technical command and profound musical imagination. We place a strong emphasis on physical ease and ergonomic posture, enabling students to produce a rich, resonant tone with complete comfort. Guided by our British conservatoire teaching approach, students explore a diverse repertoire across multiple musical periods. Through engaging, personalised instruction tailored to any level, we help cellists develop a deep appreciation for the instrument and the confidence to perform authentically.

Beyond solo performances, students are actively encouraged to collaborate in chamber ensembles, such as string duets and piano trios. This collaborative approach allows them to explore diverse repertoire, develop acute musical awareness, and gain fresh inspiration from their peers. By regularly performing together in our recital hall, students build the essential stagecraft and confidence required to excel in future competitions and exams.

Expert Exam & Pathway Preparation

Guided by our British conservatoire teaching philosophy, we provide rigorous preparation for ABRSM and Trinity examinations, as well as local and international competitions. Furthermore, our faculty offers specialised mentorship for students aiming for U.K. boarding school music scholarships or overseas conservatoire auditions. By combining meticulous technical training with mock performances in our professional 50-seat recital hall, we ensure students are fully equipped to excel under pressure and achieve their highest musical ambitions.
